Hello! I’m a student at the University of Mary Washington majoring in Environmental Science, and I’m passionate about conservation and pollution prevention. I love exploring how people and ecosystems are connected, and I’m driven by finding ways to reduce our impact on the environment. During my internship managing the grounds and gardens at UMW, I gained hands-on experience with fieldwork, recording plant species, and organizing data in Excel. I also designed a “Green Move-In Guide” using Canva to help new students adopt more sustainable habits on campus. These experiences strengthened my skills in research, field sampling, and science communication and showed me how even small actions can make a difference. I’m especially interested in conservation projects that protect biodiversity and promote a more sustainable future. Through my studies and experiences, I hope to contribute to solutions that create healthier environments for both people and nature.
